What is FNpsk?
The FNpsk program provides for accurate message handling and net management of amateur radio emergency communications using the PSK31 or PSK63 digital formats.
Documentation is contained in the help files that are part of the download package. There are also diagrams for an interface between the radio and computer.
System Requirements
- PC running Windows 95, 98, XP or ME equipped with a soundcard.
- PC COM port may be used for PTT control. Alternatively, an interface such as SignaLink may be used for PTT control.

Installation instructions for FNpsk version 2.5:
1. Unzip file FNpsk2.5.zip into a temporary directory.
2. Run file setup.exe in the temporary directory. Doing this installs the FNpsk program.
The above steps should result in the FNpsk program directory containing 18 files and 3 sub-directories.
To run the FNpsk program click on FNpsk.exe or on the FNpsk icon
Notes:
- Operation of the program is described in the Help files. To view the Help files click on the Help menu item on the Main screen, or press F1 on the keyboard. A web browser must be installed on the computer to view the Help files.
- When installing FNpsk, Windows may show a message box stating that the computer already has a newer version of the file being installed. Generally it is ok to let Windows use the newer files.
Restrictions
FNpsk may be used for amateur radio emergency communications applications only.
