What is FNpack?

The FNpack program provides for message handling and net management of amateur radio emergency communications applications via packet networks.
Documentation is contained in the Help files that are part of the download package.

 

System Requirements

- PC running Windows 95, 98, or ME and having one available serial port.
- Kantronics, MFJ or compatible Terminal Node Controller (TNC)
- FNpack is not compatible with AGWPE

 

To install FNpack

FNpack 2.1 Installation Information, March 2004

If FNpack2.1 is being installed as an upgrade to a previous version of FNpack - Download FNpack2.1.zip. Unzip this file thereby creating 9 files and 3 sub-directories that should be placed in the existing FNpack directory. Run FNpack2.1 by double clicking on FNpack.exe

If FNpack2.1 is being newly installed, in addtion to the above also download and unzip file Sysfiles.zip. This will create 8 files that should be placed in the FNpack directory.

There is further instalation information in the readme.txt and Installation Info.txt files.
